4 April 2015 - The Unplugged 4 Acoustic Competition is coming back yet again this year. The champion this year will receive RM1,000 in cash as well as the opportunity to perform at a surprise venue on a regular basis. Presented by the Society of Performing Arts Kota Kinabalu Sabah and promoted by Ingenio Entertainment, the competition will be held at April's Jazz Club. Registration starts 5 April 2015 and the deadline for submissions is on the 26 April 2015. Contestants will be split into three different heats. Each heat, contestants are to perform 3 songs. The heats will be held on the 10th, 17th and 24th of May 2015 respectively. The grand final will be held on the 14th of June 2015 in conjunction with the KK Arts Festival.
Ever since the birth of the competition, the Unplugged Acoustic Competition has been producing quality winners who are now performing professionally at various locations around Kota Kinabalu and even outside of Sabah. Check them all out at places like April's Jazz Club, Shamrock Irish Pub The Waterfront, The Loft The Waterfront, Hot Rod, Party Play, Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort and many more.
