PAUL THE RESONATOR: COUNTRY BLUES SHOWCASE IN KOTA KINABALU


15 February 2016 - Country Blues singer-guitarist, Paul Grussendorf also known as Paul The Resonator, will be performing a showcase in Kota Kinabalu this coming 27th February 2016 at 11:00am. The free showcase, 'Paul The Resonator Showcase In KK', will be held at the Borneo Lounge Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa and up to 100 seats are up for grabs for free.

Jointly organised by the US Embassy and the Society of Performing Arts Kota Kinabalu Sabah (SPArKS), Paul loves most kinds of music and he plays traditional American country blues such as the music of Robert Johnson, Blind Blake, Blind Willie Johnson and Mississippi John Hurt. In his spare time he also likes to be involved with refugee issues, assisting refugee resettlement in Africa, East Asia and South America.

The showcase will be 60 minutes long and is open to for anyone to come and watch. 'It will be a great experience for the public to see one of the many talents the United States has to offer. This cultural exchange between the United States and us over here in Kota Kinabalu is ever growing' said Arthur E. Lee, the vice president of the Society of Performing Arts Kota Kinabalu Sabah.
